Now on Kickstarter – A Sherlock Holmes Alphabet
The Sherlock Holmes Alphabet brings iconic scenes from the Sherlock Holmes canon to life using Lego figures in high resolution images.
Five years ago, James Macaluso began building scenes from Sherlock Holmes stories in LEGO® figures. This became a series of books covering twelve of the adventures of Sherlock Holmes titled “The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes Re-Imagined”. Each book featured many high resolution features as well as Sir Arthur Conan Doyle’s original text for the stories.
They went down a storm with both fans and critics.

James was asked to create more Sherlock Holmes scenes in LEGO® and the idea for the Sherlock Holmes Alphabet was born.
“A is for Agra, the immense treasure found. B is for Baskerville, accursed by the hound.”
Thus begins A SHERLOCK HOLMES ALPHABET, in which selected characters and objects featuring in the Sherlock Holmes stories written by Arthur Conan Doyle are presented in rhyming verse, from A to Z, and accompanied by amusing photographic illustrations of custom designed LEGO® models and mini-figures.
This uniquely illustrated edition is sure to delight LEGO® enthusiasts, as well as fans of the Great Detective, children and adults alike.
In addition to pre-publication copies of A Sherlock Holmes Alphabet, we are also offering copies of the Sherlock Holmes Re-Imagined books and also copies of the complete collection.

Out on Audio – The Hounding of Peers Baskerville: The Redacted Sherlock Holmes
It is 1909, and 20 years have passed since the great Devon adventure.
Holmes is consulted by Sir Henry Baskerville’s son after a shepherd in the baronet’s clothes is found dead at the foot of a cliff.
Watson is dispatched to Dartmoor to investigate and finds that the publication of his novel – controversial at the time because of the inadequacies it exposed in Holmes’s handling of the original case – has had some wholly unexpected consequences for the members of the dramatis personae of the original story.
It takes the return of Holmes to Dartmoor to separate truth from legend and to bring some legend to the truth.

You know, if there’s one thing better than being asked to write a Sherlock Holmes story for a new collection, it’s seeing that story nestled amid an array of tales by some of the best in world.
The latest in the MX New Book of Sherlock Holmes Stories Vol. 9 and 10, the 2018 Annual contains over 100 of the world’s leading Sherlock Holmes authors participating and I am truly honoured to be in the mix.
The anthology includes only traditional stories set in the original Sherlock Holmes period. That is, you’ll find no Holmes-the-secret-serial-killer here. Holmes won’t be the captain of a Starship with his trusty ‘Bones’, uh, Watson, at his side. Holmes and Watson remain Victorian gentlemen and live in 221B Baker Street and all’s right with the world. These stories were written by authors who have sold millions of books, and they come together for a common cause…
