Continuing the Adventures of Sherlock Holmes in LEGO: The Adventure of the Blue Carbuncle

Last year LEGO ‘n’ literary fans may recall that a series of books retelling the stories of Sherlock Holmes were released, and whilst there have been many reissues and “re-imaginings” of Arthur Conan Doyle’s most famous unofficial consulting detective over the years, never had they been retold in such a fun and inspired way using LEGO bricks as this series of books from MX Publishing.

Very little escapes the LEGO treatment in today’s heavily-digital-and-video-dominant-era, with everything from historical moments in sport to actual full-length film trailers, all done just to show how clever and artistic one can be with a bag of job lot LEGO bricks from eBay and a stop-motion camera. Oh, and a lot of time on their hands. Social life? What?
