Sherlock Holmes and the Hellfire Heirs
One of my favourite Sherlockian authors, Margaret Walsh, has written another book and I can’t wait to read it.
The kickstarter is currently underway.

When Mrs. Hudson asks Holmes and Watson to find a missing girl, neither men expected what they would find.
Along with Lestrade, they are plunged into a case of abduction and murder. As they race from Marylebone, to Finchley, to Wapping, and back again, time is running out for them to solve the case without further casualties. With two of their own under threat, the pressure is mounting to catch and stop the group known as “Hellfire Heirs”.
But just who are the shadowy men known as “The Hellfire Heirs”?
Margaret Walsh
This is Margaret’s fifth stand alone novel. Her main focus is Sherlock Holmes tackling serial killers, and her success has firmly established Margaret as one of the leading Australian Sherlock Holmes writers. If you’d…

Sherlock Holmes and the Crystal Palace Murder
“Sherlock Holmes and the Crystal Palace Murder” was written by Johanna M. Rieke and published by MX Publishing. I was given a copy to review by MX Publishing.
Sherlock Holmes relates to John Watson the story of the events behind the canon story “The Final Problem”. Then a body is found in the maze at the Crystal Palace. Two totally unrelated things, you would think.
But are they?
Holmes and Watson hasten to seek the killer and find they have uncovered something much worse than a single murder. Something that could shatter Britain and plunge Europe into war.
Ms. Rieke writes an excellent Holmes and Watson. They balance each other perfectly. Lestrade and Gregson both make an appearance, and both characters are delightfully portrayed.
The story itself is well balanced and well researched.
Spending several hours with “Sherlock Holmes and the Crystal Palace Murder” was a pleasure.

Sherlock Holmes: A Question of Time by Glenn Searfoss Review
Great review
I received a free copy of this book in exchange for a fair and honest review. All opinions are my own.
Infamous partner of world-renowned detective Sherlock Holmes, Dr. Watson must unravel the mystery behind his friend’s sudden frightful state and determine whether the great detective came into contact with true time travel or instead is lost to a mad game in author Glenn Searfoss’s “Sherlock Holmes: A Question of Time”.
The Synopsis

A shocking mystery or outrageous hoax?
Responding to an urgent summons, Dr. Watson arrives at 221B to find Sherlock Holmes swathed in filth and in a state of deep shock. To ensure Holmes’ safety, he must retrace the detective’s last movements and discover the source of his debility. The investigation leads to a fire-gutted warehouse where nothing remains except an open cesspit and the enigma of an unburned circle.
A convalescing Holmes unravels the mystery by relating…
