Zimbabwe Tourist Office reviews Zimbabwe In Pictures

15 Jan

Keith Hern loves Zimbabwe – the people, places and wildlife and one of his dreams was to showcase the ‘real’ Zimbabwe for the outside world to see. Following his long and painful battle with throat cancer which led to Keith’s first book ‘Bangers and Mash’ he decided that the best way to achieve his goal was to write a book – or rather create a book of photos that reflected the true nature of the country. Zimbabwe in Pictures was published in December 2010 and the tourism board from Zimbabwe has just reviewed it;

“Thank you very much for your exceptional photography work on your recent
visit to Zimbabwe. In my experience of working with photo journalists on
Zimbabwe, the images you have produced are outstanding and second to none.
The photographs of people, animals and scenery bring out the reality and
beauty of Zimbabwe. We treasure your work in showcasing Zimbabwe
internationally” Zimbabwe Tourist Office

Travel agents have reacted extremely well to the book as well;

” Wow, pictures reflect Life  “as it is” in Zimbabwe: vibrant, Wild and Exciting.  The style of a  picture book, makes a fabulous coffee table book and brings the photographic experience, memories and experience straight into the hands and eyes of the reader. An absolute delight to see and immediately ignites  the desire to travel . Brilliant.” Penny Furseman Travel

We’ve managed the challenging task of getting the book into Amazon Kindle format too – Kindle can be read on any device with their free Amazon Kindle Readers – from computers to iPads – so we hope everyone can enjoy these wonderful photos.
